Done the research but can't decide.
Which one would you recommend - Anglo Pacific / PSS / Excess International Movers ???

We are in EK just had the guy from Anglo Pacific out the other day and we were quite happy with them. The guy who came out seemed really nice and he left us all the information, we thought they were very professional and most proactive. None of the other companies I called came out. Did you have a problem with them? Would you mind telling me about it? We are going to be shipping 'everything' and obviously it is not an area I wish to make any mistakes in!

it might be fine for you. I just thought i say that because the are sponsors on this sight and maybe if 1 of them looked on here they'd see what i wrote LOL. Petty eh. A few things were broken and my sons tag-along bike never arrived. It was put on the truck but apparently was never accounted for in Glasgow and obviously wasnt sighted here. I phoned the office here in WA they said they send out claim forms, im still waiting (been here 1 yr now). Ive sent a few emails to the woman i was dealing with in Scotland and never once have they been replied. The guys that came to pack up did a good job and were nice. But what ever happened to the missing bike? ( that wasnt cheap)

Sorry to hear about your experience!
Had PSS in this morning for a quote. So far its been Anglo Pacific and PSS.
From what I've experienced so far, Anglo Pacific came across more professional.
Got one more now, Excess Intl Movers.
Anymore replies would be great, pros and cons are what we want.

I guess I must just be really naive but I'm always shocked when I hear stuff like that! It's likely been stolen and no one is prepared to even acknowledge there has been a problem never mind do anything about it? Well, to my mind that means that someone in their crew who service this area is a thief and having not addressed it then the likelyhood is that the person may still work for them. I think I might just steer clear to be on the safeside.
Thanks for the info, where abouts in Glasgow did you live? Tempted to come back? I was out in George Square last weekend and walked round to Royal exchange square for a taxi. On the way in I was telling my husband how much I would miss it (Glasgow) and enjoying watching all the people off to have a good night! It just felt really alive! They have big video screens up in G. Sq now like the one at the top of Buchanan St. Anyway on the way round for the taxi, some guy stoated passed us blind drunk and making some kind of animal noise. Actually growling like an animal! He couldnt walk kept walking right into people and making this weird noise, shocking he was only about 18. Suppose you get drunks everywhere but we're hoping that it's not just a way of life there! Still I will miss Glasgow where you can stagger about growling like a bear if you want to and noone bats an eyelid!

We lived in a town in the central belt called sunny Kilsyth!! LOL. We absolutely love it here. Every1 is pretty settled. I miss people rather than the place if you know what i mean. We are only tempted to come back for a holiday someday. We want to see more of aussie 1st. Ive just been talking to my friend back home and she says she jealous! We have accomplished so much since we got here. We are building a house, kids are going to private school, i started driving which i swore id never do! (back car accident yrs ago) There is so much more i could mention. Basically its the shame sh1t shinier bucket LOL. I love it and am fortunate that its worked out well for us. I appreciate its not for every1 but you gotta try it eh.
