|They introduced the city clipper (free bus) in Perth in 1976 (or there abouts). The logic was, that it was cheaper to provide a free bus service than it was to build all of the roads and other infrastructure needed to keep the city centre 'jam free'.
The solution to a jam free London, is to make it so unnatractive and expensive to visit, that no one will want to go there. This also works.
Which system is best

Great rekki report! Were you guys there with out kids?
What made you decide on Carramar? I love to hear what people like about the different suburbs so Ill be off looking at this one now.
Hope its not too long before youre planning the one way flights to your dream life!

Why Carramar - We just liked the layout of the area. the last two houses we have bought here have been brand new and we like it that way. I love my garden and like to design it from scratch. Carramer had a good mixture of older and new properties. Work of Kieran would be all around. what you have to remember is that he currently travels anywhere between 1 and 2 hours a day each way. Its close to a golf course for him too, close to the Uni for Jessica. We liked the school at Tapping. the beach is about 5 minutes drive. And my Neice lives in Duncraig (at the moment) which is 10 minute drive way. Oh and dont forget shopping for me!
Just had everything we wanted. We haven't ruled out anywhere totally but Tapping/Ashby and Carramar are hot favourites at the moment
Been looking at flights this afternoon. Just cant wait for that all important email!
Will be nice to get a full nights sleep again. fed up with waking up at 5.30 and rushing down to check emails just incase todays the day, only it never is!
p.s. forgot to mention, we were on our own. No Kids!!!! couldn't think of anthing worse than dragging kids around building sites and show homes. would rather pull all my teeth out without anesthetic x|

|Oh no, don't say that about dragging the kids around the houses with you! That's what we've got to do!!!!
Anyone willing to babysit?!!|
