we have booked our flights with emirates for our trip back to blighty, just wondering if anyone can recommend where to get the best travel insurance from. (We live sor) thanks in advance

A lot of credit cards offer free travel insurance if you use the card to pay for the flights (Westpac Gold etc. etc.) so you may be covered already. Also, remember that you are going to the UK where you will be covered by the NHS for illness etc. (as British Citizens). Lost luggage is covered by the airline, so maybe taking all this into account, it may not be worth spending extra on travel insurance.

(107035) - bit in here about a gold card travel insurance.... Just got back today, left Hampshire in -5 and arrived in WA +37, bit of a shock to the system.

commonwealth also offer the same for a gold card and more than 23 months with platinum and conceirge service too also can connect to the quantas frequent flyer points. get a bonus american express card to earn more too!
