We3 are planning to move to South of Perth in April/May of this year. My husband works away and we have 3 young children. By the time we move they will be 4yrs old and 2 at 1yr old. WHich area is best for young families? I would like a groups for the younger 2, (toddlers, playgroup)and a good kindergarden for the older 1. We have been looking at Secret Harbour and Baldivis (Settlers Hill)
Thanks for any advice

We live in Secret Harbour, my mate lives in Settlers Hills.
Really each to their own tastes...hard to say...
If your not mithered about living next to the beach then I would say for a large family with young kinds Settlers Hills, if you want the beach S Harbour.
Settlers has a primary and private school (Tranby) and has access to the freeway to Perth, local train station though would be Rockingham. Plenty of brits in settlers though, may find it easier to fit in and get friends than S Harbour, luck also plays a part. Additional infrastructure near complete in Settlers shopping area also.
Masses of new build property going on in Baldivis/Settlers.

|Thanks Dave for your quick response and advice. Good to know as you can only read so much and each profile makes the area you are looking at sound wonderful but until you speak to someone there you never know.
