Your only chance of getting tickets 'early' is by being a member of the 'Cricket Australia Family' (http://cricket.com.au/default.aspx?s=registration), but you need be Aus resident to join, or at least you did for the last Aussie Ashes Test anyway. Tickets will be available to them on July 14 prior to general sale to the public ANYWHERE else in the world. There is no way they can be gotten earlier, from what I understand. Just not sure all the aggro of getting tickets is worth it though for the Poms, Australia are gonna nail it anyway!! :o) KIEREN

Kieran, Thanks for the reply, Cousin in Sydney so she gonna see what she can do, Weve been looking on websites over here and people are selling tickets for hundreds of pounds, which cant be right as you say not on general sale yet. We are coming over to Perth in July with a view of moving for good Sept/Oct. Our 11year cricket mad son cant wait to come over, he doesnt mind who wins... Tried to send a private message but comp wouldnt allow

Same thing happened last time (2006 wasn't it?). Poms selling illegal tickets in UK for Aussie test games, that hadn't even been printed! The officials here are VERY hot on it, and we saw a number of people refused entry for having forged unofficial tickets that they'd bought abroad. Beware! KIEREN
