I understand that there is a particular way in which Australian employers like a CV to be written and this is not the same as the UK. Can any suggest anyone websites that we may refer to to tell us how to do this? Thanks Brian

CV's are necessary, but more interest is paid to meeting the requirements of selection criteria. This is where you are required to reflect on qualifications and skills that you have. It's quite a headache really as you have to get it right or you won't be considered for an interview. Most CV's can be quite short as less information is required as opposed to selection criteria. My advice would be try to link in with someone who knows the process in aus so that you get it right first time. Good luck judy

Last year I found a great site with a template for CV's and Resumes for Australia but can't find it now. This site gives some good advice: britishexpats.com/articles/australia/australian-resume/
