My husband and I don't have any kids. What is life like in Brisbane and Perth (our current favourite destinations) for couples without children.

I don't think it matters whether you have kids or not, there will be loads too do where ever you choose to live. I live in Victoria but I have kids. It has a massive cosmopolitan feel to it, a brilliant city with literally tons and tons to do day and night. Pavement coffee bars and eateries by the bucket load, night life, docklands, theatres, sailing it is all here. Perhaps you could consider a round trip visiting each place that you are interested in, before you make a decision. I have only ever been to Melbourne and Adelaide and found Adelaide very quiet in comparison. Check out http://www.thatsmelbourne.com.au/Pages/Home.aspx or http://www.visitvictoria.com/ The only difference with Victoria is, whilst the temperature does get up into the 40's it is not hot all year round. Good luck with your decision. Kathryn
