ANY SUGGESTIONS ON SWIMMING POOL COMPANIES TO USE, HUSBAND IS COMING ROUND TO THE IDEA OF HAVING OUR OWN POOL.
BEEN TOLD TO STAY AWAY FROM BUCANEER, AQUA TECHNIQUES & SAPPHIRE, AS THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY AND ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL.
WE HAVE BEEN TO FREEDOM, THEY SEEM GOOD.
ANYONE EVER GOT A REFURB POOL ????
ANYONE EVER BOUGHT A POOL KIT AND DID A DIY JOB ???

We had a pool put in last year. We heard the same about those three company's but because of size complications the only pool that would fit and give us max space was one from Sapphire. We have no complaints about them and they gave us a good deal. Having said that we really wanted to give Barrier Reef our business as they were most helpful and came out to the house on many occasions to try to help us out. They are based in O'conner I have also heard good things about DJ pools and WA Fibreglass.
Hope that helps

|hi we used dj pools and didnt have a problem they turned up on time the day of the dig out they completed that in the morning the next day pool arrived and was craned into place then the back filling started and the filling of the pool in steps.i found them to be very good ,carefull and proffesional.we have had a few problems with equipment that they used but when i rang them they came out that day and changed the equipment with no problems at all. i am very pleased with the company and the way they work.
hope this helps
P.S the good thing about them is that they are a family business and they do care a lot about there reputation.|

|Thanks for that Andy, I have been in touch with them this week, what pool did you get ???
I have been quoted for the Taurus & the Roman. Did they come out and measure etc. Did you get Solar, or the pipes laid for future solar. How quick did the pool go in from payment. Sorry for all the questions, I had the man from Freedom come round yesterday, they seemed ok. Did they give a creepy crawly & cover. Thanks |

|hey we got the tarus its a nice pool.the time frame was good when we paid the deposite we booked the installation of the pool too which i think was 2 weeks i think they came on the day at the time agreed which was 8.30 they dug out the pool in half a day and they were going to drop it in that day but the wind was too high so they came the next day.they dropped the pool in which was good to watch and wife made me take pics they back filled the hole half way up we then had to fill the pool to the top of the first step the next day they came back round and finished the back filling (they needed the pool to settle before completely filling it.once the pool was filled i contacted them and they then sent out the guys to install the pool pump and filter.the next day they sent out a company to stabalise the pool and clean it in all prob took 4 or 5 days.
when they install the pool they have the pipes there if you want to add solar heating at a later day we also got the creepy crawly ,vacum and hose, the net and pole and solar blanket included in the price.
e dont have solar heating but i find that the blanket works pretty well leave it on a couple of days and the pool is nice and warm
i hope this helps
