Looking for views from any parents who have sent their kids to Kinross Primary or Kinross College and what the catchment areas would be for these schools. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks Kendal

Hi, I live in Kinross and my daughter goes to the primary school. It has got a vey good reputation and she is doing very well there. My only complaint really would be the size of it. It goes from kindy to year 5 and there are over 500 kids there so very hard to get a community feel there. That is purely my opinion, others may feel differently. The college has had issues in the past, behaviour, lack of good teachers. My older 2 did go there for 2 terms in 2008/2009 but I was very unhappy with it and they have since changed schools. Other people I have spoken to are 50/50 some happy, some not. They are getting a new principal this year and hopefully things will improve. I personally wouldn't send my children there but the alternative (unless private) is slim pickings! Not sure about catchment area but I think you definitely have to live in Kinross or Burns Beach for the primary school. Hope this helps you. Bee
