My husband is a refrigeration Engineer so hoping he will get work there. We have 2 children aged 2 and 5 and hope it will be a good start for them. Would you stay perth is a good place to start, we would rent first then look to buy??|

|Haven't been to Melbourne, but heard that you can experience 4 seasons in one day there as far as the weather goes! This week they have had really bad hailstorms with huge hail stones! Winter temperatures can drop below freezing. Victoria experiences snow.
Perth appears to have more defined seasons. Summers are hot to very hot eg recent 42 degree temperatures. There is very little rain in summer. Winter temperatures can drop to 0 degrees, but no frosty weather & daytime temperatures are still reasonable.Perth need rain in the winter and gets a fair bit then. Sometimes the rain is so heavy that you have to pull over whilst you are driving as you can't see out of your windscreen until it eases.
Don't know about the job situation, but imagine that there would be plenty of work around for a refrigeration engineer.
