No, you won't be. Drinking on the beach is illegal-welcome to Nazi-Oz.

Gotta blame the knob heads for that, always a handful of idiots who spoil it for everyone.

People still enjoy a beer or wine on the beach, police will generally use common sense, but there always will be some police who are almost as stupid as the knob heads. So long as you are subtle and not being a problem youll be fine. The only place I would say dont drink is Mullaloo, where the knob heads really got stuck into each other. Other than that, take your pick of beaches!

Our kids are 3 and 8 and when we went last October they loved the Zoo (we went over on the ferry which they thought was cool!!) and the children's area of Kings Park - couldn't get them away from there!! Also took them to Caversham Wildlife Park and AQWA at Hillarys Boat Harbour. All 4 places, we thought, were good value for the money and the kids had a ball!! They also loved all the parks we kept finding all over the place! Enjoy your trip!
