(107963) I dont see what the problem is? The reason I moved here was so I could buy a big old 4 wheel drive, stock it full of camping and fishing stuff, surfboards and toys and beer and go hooning around on sand dunes. Rednecks have more fun. Simon C*

I think the main problem is that Robin Williams just isn't funny.

The man is famous for saying 'nanu nanu' on a crap TV program 30 years ago. Oh, and he dressed up as a woman in a crap film as well. On the other hand, he did turn it around when he sang Angels. Mind you, didn't he dress up as a 'Redneck' for the video of Feel? What the hell is he on about (and what the hell am I on).

Not sure about the rest of the country but here in Perth the abundance of checked shirts, baseball caps, strange facial hair and pickup trucks makes it feel pretty much like redneck country to me. Calling them Ute's changes nothing, and the F*^k Off were full messages on the back windows say it all for me. I see the boys from Alabama are real pissed at Clever Kevin's response to Robin Williams terrible slur on the lucky country. I have always noticed how much more outraged we are when the jibes are a little bit too close for comfort.

Good on Robin, can people on here not get so defensive, why the hell would Rudd get involved in saying something back, it shows what a clown he is - a bit like a few on here. Lighten up Sad people

Maybe it was down to Crocodile Dundee films giving that impression of Australia to Robin Williams?? Don't think that K Rudd should have had a go at Alabama though. he will be upsetting the President next...
