Hi Guys Can anybody please advise me as to any websites worth looking at in terms of Holiday Rentals when we first arrive out there please? I feel it might be a good idea to start of with an holiday rental first then look to getting a rental later when we decide which suburb we wish to live in and secure jobs etc. Anybody else done this when they first moved out please? Many thanks Debbie

Not sure which state you plan on coming to, but we had a holiday let for three weeks prior to going into a rental, whilst it was expensive, the owner let us have the third week cheap. You cannot rent a house without first stepping foot through the door so a holiday let is a good option. Try Also see if you can access the classifieds of the local paper on line, to see if there are any listings. If you have friends or family already over here get them to check the papers and holiday letting agents for you. It is hard trying to do this from a distance, I know we did it so any help you can get from this end will enable a smoother arrival for you all. Good Luck
