Hi, I have a little boy (Harry) who is 3 but will be 4 in September. We move out in September and he has been offered a Kindy place starting 1st February 2011 for 2 full days a week. I believe they have to be 4 before the start of the school year to qualify for their Kindy place. Not sure how it is in NZ, Harry goes to pre-school 5 mornings a week in the UK and loves it so I think by February he'll be very keen to start Kindy!! and so will I!!!! I'm afraid I don't know the cost of day care.

About $60 per day for full day care inc food, but supply own nappies, if required. Although, depending on work/visa status/and possibly tonights budget, some of that cost may be met by gov't.
