Hi, has anyone studied nursing in Perth I am looking at the Joondalup campus. Looking into studying part time. If anyone has any info on studying in Perth I am a mature student well on the TAFE website anyone over 20 is a mature student so I must be classed as more of a granny!! (I'm 36) I have always worked as a carer and wanted to be a nurse and now its time to do something for me! If any of you are nurses have you had good experiences in Perth? Many of my friends are nurses in the UK and have totally put me off doing it here. Thanks Deb

Hi I completed my training in November and was a Curtin Uni for my studies. I am also a mature student so know where yuo are coming from. I believe the campus you are talking about is Edith Cowen, I can't comment on their program but I think they are all much of a muchness. I think their course is 3 years full time. I am currently on my grad year at Freo hospital and am really enjoying it. It was definately worthwhile but still a bit of a shock to the system to have to write assignments and take exams again. Good luck with your studies Juliet
