Hi All We need to have a lid of some type for a brick pool housing that contains the pump and filter etc. It needs to be waterproof and pretty weather resistant. Any ideas?! Many thanks

roofing sheets, visit your local salvage yard and get some off cuts of tin and timber, make a timber frame. easy peasy.

As far as I can tell its not possible to buy a bespoke product. I looked for ages and eventually got one purpose built. Do not recommend that approach, it cost me $900.

If the brick housing is already built, just buy a sheet of non asbestos cement fibreboard (flat or corrugated) and cut it to size. Cutting is simply a case of scoring the board with a stanley knife and then snapping along the line. Fibreboard can be painted with any exterior paint, will not rot or rust and is weatherproof. You could hold it in place by putting a brick or block on top of it, or you could use self adhesive velcro.
