|I'm sorry, I know this question has possibly been asked already so please don't shoot me for asking again!
I'm eligible to apply for citizenship in a few weeks time. I was just wondering if anyone has any idea how long it may be between applying for citizenship and actually sitting the test.
Thank in advance!

|It took us 4 months to get a date for the test (which is really easy so long as you can speak English and study their little book) - then another 6 months to get a ceremony and certificate.|

|I would say it would vary from state to state. and actually getting a date for the citizenship ceremony would also vary from council to council.|

|I seem to be having a few issues with the little book....I can't seem to take any of it in haha! It's a bit like being in a history class, never was my strong point!
Thanks for your reply.

|I'm down in Tasmania so not very sure if that make it sooner or later?
Suppose I'll find out soon enough.....just as long as I pass the test lol!

|Just keep reading. It's funny because my husband told me you won't need to study the book. The night before the exam I got some test questions up on line and freaked as I didn't know the answers.
I sat up until about 1am studying so only a few hours really. But I passed thank goodness. I got one wrong, considering I hadn't studied much I was pleased. As for my husband well he got 100%. But he did study all the following weekuntil it was his date.

|I've done the online test questions and got all but one correct so hopefully it won't be too painful lol!
I'll keep persevering with my wee book though!|
