|The longer you rent for, the longer you have to really find the car you're looking for. You don't want to be rushed into buying a dodgy vehicle coz the rental has got to go back soon. you'll have a hundred and one things to deal with when you get here and being rushed into parting with your hard earned doesn't have to be one of them!!
we rented a car for 4 weeks and it was probably about right.
There are plenty or car dealers on Wanneroo Road. But a word of warning - car dealers are the same the world over. They are experts at parting you you from your cash. Do your research. Decide what you want and how much you want to pay and don't let the glorious January sunshine or the sheer novelty of arriving in a new country cloud your judgement!!

|I think you might struggle to find a people mover for $8k everything seems sooooo expensive here just beware we needed a 7 seater too and used a dealer. We did push and paid cash and got 8% off the advertised price. There are a few hail sales still around in Perth (not sure if you heard of the bad damaging hail storm) that left many cars in garages badly damaged and being sold off much cheaper than list price. Also there is a car supermarket which has some good prices ex hire cars etc. you can't negotiate on the price on the car window its take it or leave it! I wish you good luck in your quest. Also beware there is no MOT system here so be really thorough when you look over the car as it may not have been near a garage for a long time. |
