where is an english settlement in queensland, we live in perth for 3 years and in the settlement of butler little uk, can anyone advise

No offence, but it you've been in Australia for 3 years and looking for an english settlement, you may want to consider going back to England. Personally, a question such as that, is no different than 'can we practise shariah law'. You left england for a reason, embrace Australia for what it is

Hi, it's just that when you have moved to the other side of the world, why not try living with Australians? You don't have to live in an English Settlement.I suppose some people do but it's possible to live without English neighbours. We're English and have lived in Melbourne for nearly 4 years and don't know any other English people.

I can understand empathise with you regarding your enquiry about an English settlement as it is not a case of not wanting to mix with Aussies but of familiarity with your own culture. Until one arrives here the cultural differences between us is not apparent, but is huge, even though we all speak the same language. We are from South Africa and live in a suburb that has many South African expats, unfortunately I cannot help you on the English settlement.
