My husband applied for a Skilled Independent Visa and got the 120 point necessary. However, his job title (Computer Engineer) is not on the Skills in Demand List of any territory or state. Does this mean we stand no chance? Our agent says to try find a sponsor but could we get a sponsor to offer us a permanent residency visa? Please could someone shed some light and give some advice? Advice much appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

We came over here on a 457 sponsored visa 1 1/2 years ago, we are just waiting for a Permanent Residency visa to be approved, It doesn't take long to get your PR visa we just took our time in sending in all the paper work for it so if you get a sponsor and get yourselves over here just apply for the PR visa as soon as you get here.
Wishing you luck and hope you get here soon.

|A good agent should be able to find you a sponsor,|

|If there's no demand for that job I think even the best of agents will have a hard time!!! if a employer sponsors someone they need to prove that they cannot fill that job with someone in this country !!!, and Ive heard Immigration are getting tough in this area??? |
