Hi Im not in Coffs yet I have been to a few places in oz but none of them seem to hit the spot, Im from the UK then moved to South Africa after you have lived their the scenery is hard to match Coffs is the place that comes close. What did you think of Coffs No dis respect but if I had moved from the UK to OZ I would think it was stunning all over but the as I went via South African its a bit different, reason for leaving there are obvious so I wont elaborate

I like coffs, but when we return in think it will be to queensland. We made some nice friends there and Boambie creek is great, we were there for 3 months. Bellingen is about 20 mins away up th 'waterfall way' and that is great, but very Hippie. If i were to live in the coffs area it would be in Sawtell! The problem with coffs is it is a country town and has 32% unemployment! because of where it is! we chose to rent in coffs because we liked it, but realised we needed to be closer to a city for airports and strong employment prospects and have chosen north of Brisbane to return to.The other thing is Coffs floods often, so be carfull where you settle. If it is the place for you i wish you all the best, and when you get there, ask someone where 'the promise land is'. That is the name of an area near Belingen, and your kids will love swimming in the billabongs. Your pulling at my heart strings now!...Hey, let me know how you get on! Andy.
