We would like to break lease on our house as we've found out we need to rent for a couple of years and so have decided to spend a little bit more on our rent to get a few luxuries! Can anyone advise on how to go about it, what to do, how much it costs etc?? The lease we have is until September. Many thanks in advance, Clare

We broke our lease in Coffs Harbour. All you need to do isfill a form in with your letting agent, then they should re advertise the lease for your house, and when a new tennant is found you are free to go.

Thanks for the reply. We are a bit nervous in telling our agent as we can't afford to move on until it's re-let but if we can choose to stay until they've found someone then that's great. Cheers, Clare
