|Fantastic area to live, close to the beach , restaurants, coffee shops and the wonderful beach path along the sunshine coast road. Will be pricey though. Look at realestate.com.au and there are only 2 properties to rent, one for $600 a week and a one bedroom duplex for $295 a week. Not always easy to get a rental that will accept pets.

|Thank you Ann
Very helpful info - I am also looking at other areas like Hilarys - Currimbine ? Iluka and Ocean reef
If you have any info on those locations would be so grateful- I realize it will be more difficult to get good home with pets but I see from the sites that quite a few do take pets.. I suppose it depends on the house and how amiable they are.
Whats the work like in these suburb areas ? Places like Hilarys and Jondalup ?
Thanks for all advice

|Hi again Debs,
Hillaries, Kallaroo, Mullaloo, Ocean Reef, Illuka are all great beachside suburbs. If you look on a map, properties in all these area, will generally be cheaper to rent if the house is closer to Marmion ave,(this is a road that runs parallel to the West coast highway beach road)except maybe Illuka which is a bit more upmarket throughout the whole suburb. Properties on the east side of Marmion ave are a bit more reasonable and they include Padbury, Craigie, Beldon, Heathridge, Conolly(a bit more upmarket) and Currambine. What kind of work do you do? Maybe finding a job first would be a good idea and then decide where you want to live. There is plenty of short term accomodation around. Cheers

Thats all brilliant thanks - My partner is more than likely coming out first as he has a job with construction company and they relocate us.. His job will keep him at work on site for 15 days at a time and then 1 week off. I have a friend in ocean reef so thats good but my job is in travel in the uk so I would prefer a few months off before finding work in Oz as my partners salary and position is very good.
I want to work in travel and tourism if I can but failing that I am solid in sales and marketing so have good cv.
I will be relocating our dog and cats so near the beach and out door space is so important.
Questions- Where do you live and whats your job ? Are you originally from Uk ? How long you been n WA ? |

|Thanks for info we have looked into the beaches for dogs and I have a list of areas that allow dogs... we havent decided which suburb and area yet so when we do will look at those beach areas for dog allowances.
