It is time for me to enrol my daughter in primary school and I was wondering if there are any public schools that have religious education?

Not that I know of as part of the ciriculum. Due to a mulitcultural Auatralia they would have to employ too many teachers to cover the amount of students with different religions. There's always Sunday School.

Have a look at this link http://www.det.wa.edu.au/curriculumsupport/religiouseducation/detcms/portal/ I know here in Victoria most state primary schools offer what is known as CRE. It is an elective which parents opt into when they enrol their child. Depending on the demographic of the area will depend if they offer a general christian subject or other branch of faith.
