Hi all Hubby needs some dental/orthodontic work done. It may include caps/inplants. We know its going to cost a fortune!!!! but if anyone has had similar work done could you let us know dentist details etc so we can get some quotes. We are with MBP. Even wondered if it would be more economical to travel back to UK to get work done?? Any help/info appreciated. Many thanks Jane

Hi Jane, We use Sparkle dental on the corner of Boas Ave, Joondalup. They are really good, my husband is currently undergoing treatment there which involves having a couple of implants fitted. They do refer you if the work has to be done under general anaesthetic but you go back to them for the rest of the work. It is not cheap, I think Tony's are costing around $6000! and that doesn't include removal of old teeth, the anaesthetic that he had to have and various other treatments. It is just as expensive in the UK I think but I may be wrong. We have insurance but because it is seen as a cosmetic treatment it isn't covered, same goes for orthodontic stuff too. Hope this helps Bee

Hi Jane, It would be cheaper to go to Bali or Phuket ! Incorporate it with a holiday. They have dentists in the hotels over there. Vanessa
