Hi just wondering if anyone has any info on areas aroung High Wycombe (WA), prices of property seems good, but is there a reason for this. Also any info on catholic schools both primary and high, in that or surrounding areas will be great. Thanks in advance. Shelly

high wycombe is in the foothills , property to buy is quite reasonable and they return good rents , you have a shopping centre by wittenoom rd , a small one on newburn and another one on kalamunda rd , the larger shooping centres closer to high wycombe would be midland and belmont forum . there are two state primary schools edney rd and high wycombe primary , and a cathoilc primary on wittenoom rd called mathew gibney , there isnt a high school in high wycombe there was supposed to be but they sold the land and it was built on now they cant find the right site for one [ it must be hard as they have been looking for over twenty years !!!!!! the kids tend to go to forrestfield high school mainly or some go to kalamunda high school , there are [ cathoilic high schools in lesmurdie / maida vale [ short bus ride away ] for girls it saint brigids and boys go to mazenod , there is also a christian school at carmel cant remember its name [actually think it might be called carmel christian school lol] easy to get on the freeway and about 15 km from perth city . high wycombe was established about 25 years ago with some of the newer estates about ten years ago . if there is any thing else you want to know let me know xx

Thank you so much for your speedy and informative reponse. all good info lots to think about. Seems a long time to be looking for the right site for a high school, but I suppose no point in rushing into the wrong decision. lol. Thanks again Shelly
