|hello all, can any one advise us please
moving out in november and have temp accomodation in ocean reef, looking to settle in that area but depends on housing etc when we get there.
is it better to register for schools before we leave? (even if we are not sure where we will be living)
can we regitser fore more than one school? if we register for a good school but dont live in that area, can we still send the children there?
looking at state schools not private at the moment

|hi, we moved here in jan and had a holiday rental in heathridge for 4 weeks, then found 12 month lease in ocean reef. we had to be in catchment area for ocean reef and show our lease agreement for proof of address to register at the primary and high school. we ragistered on the monday and the school opened for the new term on wed 3rd feb. you cannot do anything until you arrive ( for ocean reef) but other schools requirements may vary.|

|Hi, we moved to ocean reef this week and we had to prove our address was in the catchment area with rental agreement and another proof we used a letter from the bank. My daughter starts at Ocean reef on Tuesday, she will be in year 9. Good luck with your move.
