I am sure you read post after post about the best suburbs to live in, but I received a phone call today about a prospective job working in Osbourne Park. Alot of the jobs in my type of field of work seem to be around that neck of the words or Subacico.
Can you please advise which are the better suburbs to start looking at (initially we will be renting). We are a family of 4 so I will be looking for a primary school for my son and my daughter is looking at going to Uni (possibly). My partner is a plasterer but alot of building work appears north and south.
A list of suburbs I have been taking a look at are:-
So the list is so long but I am not quite sure where to start. Your advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Gwelup and Karrinup are 2 good suburbs which are fairly close to Osborne Park, Karrinup shopping centre and close to the beach. Karrinup, I have heard, has good primary schools but I think you are fairly safe with most primary schools here except maybe the ones in the lower socio-economic areas.I would be happy to send you a personal message with the areas to avoid.
Hope this helps.

|This is great information (my family will be arriving in July/August so i pay attention to all the 'housing' posts) Do you mind a PM with some of the neighborhoods to stay away from? That will probably easier than listing all the good ones!

I have family that live in Gwelup. We visited them last summer and it was a really nice area. Near to schools and the shopping centre, and not too far from Perth centre.
It's so difficult to pick an area, we are moving over in the summer and are having the same issue. I have to be near Fremantle Hospital for my work, but I am not keen to live in Fremantle.
