Does anybody have a portable gas heater that they want to sell, or know of anybody that has one that they don't want anymore. Our rental is freezing. Cant seem to find a heater anywhere that doesn't cost a small fortune lol. Lynn

Just a word of warning - we travelled ages to pick up a gas fire that was for sale in Gumtree, sorry carnt remember where it was from. When we got it home it wasnt working properly, have to be so careful with Gas appliances. I luckily was able to get my money back but had to travel again to return the faulty item, the lady who was selling it said she would send me a cheque for $50 if i wanted to keep it. She said this would be enough to have it serviced !!! Got my money back like I said but said I would never buy anything as important as a Gas appliance again from such as Gumtree - Good luck

Hi, We just invested in a Gas heater and its worth every penny as it heats the family room in under ten minutes ...I love it! They are very expensive but did you know Harvey Norman are doing buy now, pay later interest free for 6 months? I have also heard that come July they slash the prices. I agree with Sharron and wouldn't buy a Gas heater second-hand off Gumtree. They are supposed to be serviced every 3 years and you never know if they are faulty.

We bought ours off Ebay from a chap down in Baldivis, cost us less than $200 and is in perfect working order. Doesn't cost much to have it serviced either......

I'd be trying The Good Guys before Harvey 'increased prices' Norman.....

I agree The Good Guys are great so long as you can pay with cash. On this occassion Harvey Norman were cheaper which suprised me.
