My husband and I are emigrating to Perth soon
We have been looking at places to live on the internet, and like the area of Edgewater. Can anyone give us some advice on this area. We have 2 young children ages 3 and 1 so schools are very important as well.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

|Nice primary school, need to be careful on high school catchments as I think some of the suburb may come under Belridge SHS catchment. Whilst at your childrens ages that may not seem important, time flies and you do not want to be stuck in a crap high school catchment area.|

It is quite difficult trying to gauge what different areas are like from only the internet. Is Edgewater a good location to set up a new life in Perth?
I am a nurse and my husband is a draftsperson so he may work in the city centre. Is there hospitals near by and what is the commute into the city centre like?
Is there any other suburbs North of the river that you could suggest?
Any guidance is much appreciated.

|Edgewater has a train station so about 23 minutes into the CBD and Joondalup has an expanding hospital so jobs a plenty there. Nice suburb, you won't go far wrong living there.|
