|Hi we are relocating to Perth in January 2012 and were looking to settle in Joondalup. We have 2 children aged 9 and 12, any information you could offer on areas and schools would be great. Thanks Lisa|

|I think Joodalup is a fair choice, it is like little england, but unlike many suberbs around Perth it has everything on your doorstep, Shops, pubs, restraunts. It can get a bit rowdy at the weekends.....but thats WA for you! If you can stretch to it you could try some of the older places like Clairmont, or Wembley. |

I agree that Joondalup is a good place to relocate, this is our second time back and been here over 5 years. Last of the kids in year 11 & 12. Good shops great beaches evrything on your doorstep. 25 min into Perth, 45 min from the domestic airport. Too much to do, the boys and myself do beach patrol's in summer, volunteer for bush fire brigade, fit club down the loacl oval, bbq when ever we want, cycle the coastal path or just walk the dog. Oh and work 8&6 roster fly in/out.
