Hi all, Does anyone know please whether smoking causes any problems with the medical for the visa or whether my partner is best to try to give up before we go for it ? Please advise Cheers Sandy

The purpose of the medical is to check whether you have an existing condition that may cost the Australian healthcare services above the average level for a person of your age. It is not a fitness test as such.
