Can anyone advise on the options for SKY TV equivalent here in Oz. Im aware of Foxtel and Telstra, but are there others that provide TV channels, Phone, Broadband etc? Also, do we require a telephone fixed line in order to get the TV channels here?

Hi We've gone with Foxtel as this seems to be the only option apart from freeview channels. You get foxtel and big pone through Telstra but you have to take the telstra phone package as well. Phone, internet etc we've gone with vividwireless which is what it sounds like 'wireless internet ' but it provides a phone service as well which foxtel can also link to for the tv service but you don't need a phone for the tv service. we thought vivid was defo the cheaper option for phone and internet = $89 / month unlimited internet, local calls to landlines and international call to 8 countries (including UK). Cheaper options if you want them. Hope this helps Cheers Jan
