Hi, We are moving to Perth towards the end of September and we are finding it difficult to place our kids in a school in Perth. We are a Afrikaans speaking family, my daughter is currently in gr. 11 and my son in gr 7, both of then can speak english very well, the problem is to find a school, where other South African kids are studing and I feel it will be helpfull if we stay in a area where other South Africans live. My eldest son age 19y are also coming with us, as he is still dependent on me, I have been told that he is allowed to work or study under my 457 visa, but studying in Perth is very expensive (AU$10000) for full time studies and I beleive we need to pay his studies upfront, is this true?. Can someone please assist me with the above.
