Before I left Canada, the folks handling my relocation had advised me to purchase adapters for my lamps so that I could use Aussie light bulbs in my North American lamps. Because I was rushed the weeks prior to the move, I didn't get a chance to purchase these adapters. Does anyone know if/where these can be purchased in Australia? Thanks.

Hey Sylvia. I couldn't help but notice that you're from Canada. I, too, am from Canada - and am currently awaiting my Australian Visa. I've been visiting this site often - but have not posted often. Where abouts in Canada are you from? Did you require a shipping container for your belongings? If so, which company did you use? In addition, did you have any pets to contend with? Pasha.

Hi Pasha, I'm from Toronto. We used MIGroup for moving. No pets. My container got here in prety good time - a little under 3 months from when they packed up my place to when I got it delivered. It had to go through Customs/Quarantine for a while. good luck with the move.

I'm going through the process of bringing my dog from Canda back to Perth, if anyone out is anyone else is going through the same experience, contact me. Just a note: For the tick treatment, 'Depend' is accepted and can be purchased in Canada through your vet.
