Does anybody know of anywhere to buy a DVD player free of regional codes?? We'd like to take our DVDs (mostly movies fr the kids) but from what i've read the region code on DVDs and players in Australia is different from the UK and North America. Alternatively we could bring our DVD player, but then we couldn't play DVDs from Australia. Thanks, Mike

There is a website where you can download a code specific to the make of your dvd player. This code then de-regionalises your player leaving it free to play multi region discs. If you go to and do a search on there the web address is there somewhere. I did have it but on our other computer but I will try and see if I can find it Claire

We have actually bought an Australian DVD Player (Sony) and it plays all our DVDs from England on it!!!!Not sure why as it says it is a different region code but plays anyway. Emma
