Hi we have just moved to Perth from South Africa and our furniture is arriving on Tuesday, we have brought everything! How do we convert all those plugs without having to change every single one of them. I haven't noticed any discussions from other South Africans on this subject so - please can you help!

I am sure this trick will apply to SA as well as UK plugs.... Buy/Bring a number of 4-way, 6-way etc. boards, change the plugs on the boards, et voila! Your SA plugs will go straight into the SA boards, which then plug into the Aussie sockets. If you don't want to change the plugs, use an adapter for each board's plug. If you want to create a fire risk, plug just one 6-way into the Aussie mains, and then daisy-chain others from that...

...and don't forget to replace the fuse with an old nail just so you don't trip the mains... [JOKE!!!] - Mark
