Hi - we are on our way over to Perth in November time and have heard a couple of stories of certain household items being more expensive to purchase in Oz than in the UK. Is this true and if so, what things should we be looking at taking to Oz with us rather than buying when we arrive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. John & Pam

Hi, I think its been said before on a thread a couple of weeks ago but bring a high tog duvet. You'll be glad of it when July comes because it does get cold in winter, despite the British misapprehension that 'Australia is always hot' - or is that just my friends who keep telling me to 'stop complaining about the weather, it must be hotter than here' (in Aug)? As Anjay says bring as much as possible (as long as it's quality enough to withstand a few knocks on the ship on the way!) Good luck, Diane
