We have been researching Adelaide and it seems nice.Last night hubby got to reading the RPL he bought last month and now it makes a lot of sense so i am glad that buying it was not a waste.
Got to talking about which visa to apply for and after weighing our options and discussing
the pros and cons of these we have settled for the 475 visa.
The whole thing should take about 6 to 7 months to get. This entire weekend will be dedicated to him getting his skills assessment in order and ready for submission by the end of the month.I on the other hand need to make like a bee and buzz off with the kids so he has some peace and quiet to work. Not a problem though cos mom would be happy to have us(especially now that we are not going to be around for long).
Sure PR has its perks and we do qualify provided hubby takes the English test,it just takes too long.I used to always be the impatient one but it seems lately that my other half has inherited this from me.His position of IT Manager is on the skills list and South Australia will sponsor this profession, hence the sudden interest in Adelaide. That`s where the 475 visa comes into play. Once we are there for 2 years we can apply for PR.
I just hope it works out and we leave this year.I just hate that nagging feeling that i am supposed to be somewhere else and am still here.
I do intend to do a nursing course after settling down seeing as i will have lots of time on my hands with the kids at school.
That seems to be the plan for now and hopefully we will be out of here before the year ends.I will hang on to my house and rent it to my brother maybe.
