A few things have happened thus far,Mervin has completed all 3 exams. He had 80%,100% and then 100% in these computer exams, told him 'I married a Nerd'.
These are things associated with IT that he does every day but have no certificates to prove he knows the stuff. After much thought he decided to do just that. These internationally recognized certificates were at a cost of R2000 each.A very pretty price but he did get his monies worth from it by passing with flying colors.

So that is done and we are almost complete with RPL.So need to send to agents next week.
We have been making big sacrifices to get this done.Over the weekends i take the kids to my mums house and Merv spends the entire day with drafting RPL information. There are so many topics to cover in the RPL.Calling on 15-17 years of experience is so not easy.
MY SON ACTUALLY ASKED WHY 'DADDY DOES NOT SPEND ANY TIME WITH US'Had to explain that he will as soon as this is sent off.
So for anyone thinking this is 'a piece of cake'you are mistaken,it is far from that. You really have to give it your best.I have been doing the typing for Mervin and as i am updating this blog it is 5.30am and he has been up from 4am rounding up the last bit of information.Sleep is now a thing of the past, well at least until this gets submitted.
All we will pray for is a positive skills assessment. One thing at a time.
