In one of my previous blogs i mentioned a meeting with Michelle,I also said 'she seemed like a very smart person'OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH yes she was smart enough to tell us upon our first visit to the agents office that she has a 'friend'working in Home Affairs.

Yes you guessed it,we paid her R400 for getting our unabridged certificates for the 4 of us and at that time we had already applied for our passports so she made copies of the forms to pick up these passports and we filled out the unabridged forms.
Mervin made a special trip to Umchlanga from Pinetown to give her the money and forms cos she phoned him twice that day saying she had forms from a few clients to give to her friend that afternoon.

There was no such 'friend'.She served her notice in February and then has left the company. The lady in her place now has taken a few phone calls about clients asking for things they had paid her to get. This person was very apologetic and we had e-mails and SMS correspondence from Michelle that we have since forwarded to her to prove that we paid her.She did not want to divulge any information about investigating this matter but promised that it is being taken very seriously. Will not chance an application through Home Affairs but will go to Bunny Hop instead to apply,Pricey but will receive documents in 40 days.Hubby was sooooo angry.

This is such a bad reflection on the agents. We have since collected our passports.Went to town last Saturday but they were closed due to it being 'HUMAN RIGHTS DAY'(WHAT A JOKE).A country with a high crime rate.A country where every day the papers are filled with horrid stories of rape, murder, teens making sex videos and selling nude photos of themselves on something called MIXIT using their cell phones.A justice system that fails the people and favors the criminal.
I do know that Australia is not crime free but piece of mind to go shopping or to the park with the kids is price less. Not to mention that my beloved friends are waiting for us in Adelaide. We skype each other every week and that is why it is more urgent than ever to go.
In all that has been going on i have 'found myself'.After spending all these years at home i have this need to work or shall i say feeling to do greater things.I am by no means implying that being a stay at home mum is not great,it is the most beautiful and rewarding job on the planet especially when your partner is loving and caring and supportive.
I have had this 'calling' to be a nurse and it is my passion to talk to people and care for them. After we settle in Adelaide i will do a caregiver course and then move towards nursing.I am extremely excited about this and as i mentioned in my previous blog 'this process try's my patience'Just keeping the dream alive in the mean time.
