Trouble Always Comes In Pairs
12 Feb 2010
well we did have the chat with the agent, but i think it confused us even more. any way this is it, in a nutshell

we have applied under - Class VE, Subclass 175 - where my husbands job in on the MODL + CSL lists

now from what i understood, based on the changes that have been effected on the 8th, it has moved from from a processing priority of 3rd position to 4th
that's not so bad considering the fact that some classes mentioned might not process till 2012/13 (cannot remember the numbers but if i do will post)

well we were told that a revised time line cannot be given for another 2 weeks, i guess that's only fair as the CO's would now have to re-arrange the applications based on priority. We were looking at visa grant by end march this year, so fingers crossed & hopefully it will not get pushed back too far

we were also told that after 2 weeks, when we know a time line, if we like we could change to state which will push the application up the ladder. but that means applying for state - then sending that to the CO & changing the 175 -> xxxx Hummmm so much jargon its not even funny anymore. BUT AT LEAST THERE IS A CHANCE & HOPE

Fingers crossed, hope & prayers is all we have at the moment i guess. like 78girl has said 'when it rains it pours' so lets wait & see when we will get washed ashore in OZ.... LOL

He had to cook up a lie & ask for leave today to go check what had gone wrong. He had been very casually told that it
