well, not much to report since i last updated, cant believe its another month gone by already!! the most important thing to report is that my ex has signed the permission form for my girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant believe it but my mum has the form and its all official! so at least they now have the choice to stay if they want to. georgia, the youngest says she wants to when she comes in july, so hoping she can get on the soccer programme at woodvale school as she is football mad and plays at county level in UK, im hoping this will persuede her to stay. Im also trying to persuede Fern, who will be 18 in August to stay and work here but her boyfriend stays with us in August and they plan to go back together. just think it would be such a good experience for her, especially as David has some good contacts in his work. Jasmine is still not coming out to visit till December and then may not if her boyfriend cant come too! Teenagers!! Still doesnt feel 'right' here without them all, but keep thinking positive.
still working but have dropped down to 9 shifts a fortnight. the minimum hours i can work is 70 on the 457 visa, so have dropped one shift and increased some of my shifts by half hour to give me the 70 hours. at least i get an extra day off! harrys still getting on well at school and have been impressed with what he has done since starting. his teacher is really nice and the school has a nice feeling to it. david is still ok at work, isnt particully keen on it as finds it frustrating(he has to get people on centrelink fro more than 12 months jobs, say no more!!!) the sun is still shining and it is still hot although had a few cooler days lately, still has only rained 3 times in 4 months!!! harry has started swimming lessons and is doing well, he has been swimming since he was before 4 but have never done the lesson thing but his friends that have been over to play are very good swimmers so thought we had better get him up to scratch especially as he,s starting swimming at school soon. we pay $67 a month which i thought was reasonable. begining to get to know the area, well david is as he travels around alot in his work. Making friends , been out to lunch today with a couple of work friends which was lovely and met some people through school. seems more friendlier here, perhaps its the sunshine?! am going to learn to drive, about time as i,ll be 38 next month, so am going to do it! mind you, its a 5 part process here so hopefully i will keep with it!
had our first utiliy bill the other day, water, which was $10? i phoned up to check and the meter had been read and they assured me it was correct, but am still expecting a huge bill next time!! anyway, will kepp you posted. good luck to all those on their journey here, its worth it. someone said on here 'same shit, shiner bucket' just about sums it up really but i do love it here and would hate to go back to UK .
