time seems to be just flying by so quick! wont be long before we would have been here a whole year! things still going well.wish we moved here years ago but so glad we are here now. miss jaz and fern like crazy still but still hoping they will join us one day. have planned a trip down south for next year.going to hire a camper van for 2 weeks and travel round to esperance, stopping off at margaret river, denmark, albany, bremer bay, epserance.lakeking and wave rock, solooking forward to it. were thinking of bali, dubia or phuket but thought why not see the beautiful country that we spent lots of planning, stress and money getting here! i think people are so quick to go to other places and dont realise whats on their own doorstep. yes,we spent many holidays abroad over the years but we have been all over UK so dont feel bad about that! we are really looking forward to it as are the kids as harry has never even been camping,so hes really excited! im finally learning to drive at the age of 38! i rode scooters before but learning to drive is one of the things on my list since moving here.it seems alot easier here as roads are generally wider and not so much traffic out of peak times, although drivers do tend to drive close to eachother and pull out in front of you! im off on a 'girls only'weekend at the end of the month to manadarah, men are staying behind and having a poker night (although i dont think most of them know how to play it!!) although the weather hasnt been great lately we are still making use of our spare time, we had a lovely fathers day picnic last sunday at kings park with a few friends, although it was raining when we got there, the sun soon came out and it was great to see so many people making the most of the day. people really do seem to socialise here more and our social life is so much better since we have been here!
I am very proud to say that harry and georgia are both doing really wellat school. harry won 'aussie of the month'at school a couple of weeks ago, which we were so proud of, you would never get that back in the UK would you. imagine - 'brit ot the month',i dont think so ! he has his sports carnival next wednesday and i have heard thet they are really good. georgia won 2 awards at school for being student ot the month in maths and science and had a letter sent home from her sceince teacher for her good work.
